We have all read the devastating condemnation by Yeshua in his blistering denouncements of
the Pharisees, but how a lot of of us have recognized the complete meaning
of his phrases? This begs the problem of WHY had been Yeshua’s harshest condemnation reserved for these "ultra-religious" Jews?
The Lord Yeshua’s invective versus Pharisaism, in fact, is unparalleled in the New Testament.
Christian Zionists consider that, for the reason that those people
who are ruling in Jerusalem today Claim to be
Jews, that "the instances of the Gentiles" referred to by our Lord Yeshua in Luke 21:
24 have always been ended, and that the generation of the state
of "Israel" in 1948 is for that reason a success of this prophecy.
They now confirm that during His lifetime Yeshua was recognized as a ‘Judean’ by His contemporaries and not as a
‘Jew’ and that Yeshua referred to Himself as a ‘Judean’ and not as a ‘Jew.’ Inscribed on the Cross
when Yeshua was crucified had been the Latin words and phrases ‘Iesus Nazarenus
Rex Iudæorum.’ Pontius Pilate was the author of that infamous
Latin inscription. Latin was Pontius Pilate’s mom-tongue.
